The final Gin & Tonic soirée of the season – works by Mozart, Bruch and more! 

The recital will be live-streamed on the BMCS YouTube channel at 6.00pm and stay till 11.00pm.  Tickets were formerly priced at £12.50 but we invite you to go to the Eventbrite page to make a donation.  Proceeds will be split equally between the artists and the Church of St Peter & St Paul, Butlers Marston after Eventbrite has taken its portion.

 Serenade for Winds in Eb  K 375 and Gounod Petite Symphonie.

Górecki Three Pieces in Old Style and Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2.
Contrasting aspects of the Polish spirit are revealed. Górecki’s Three Pieces draws its inspiration from early music while Chopin’s Piano Concerto, heard here in a new arrangement, is illuminated with romantic elegance. In their inaugural concert The Queen’s Singers present an eclectic mix of music for seven voices and piano. Items include Fauré’s evocative Cantique de Jean Racine and Will Todd’s The Call of Wisdom written for the Diamond Jubilee of HM The Queen. Leave the concert tapping your feet to the sound of The Rhythm of Life from Sweet Charity. The group, founded in 2020, are classically trained at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. They will demonstrate their individual talents as choral singers, soloists and instrumentalists.
