The 29th Festival Weekend held over the first of the May Bank Holiday weekends marks the centenary of the founding of Czechoslovakia two weeks before Armistice Day on 11 November 1918. Musicians invited include the Pražák String Quartet, Guarneri Piano Trio, Martin Kasik, Jana Nováková, Ensemble 360, Michael Collins, The Piatti String Quartet and in the final concert Roderick Williams completes his Schubert Project with Schwanengesang.
